Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) – Training Partner (TP) & Training Centre (TC) Registration

1. Introduction

PMKVY is the flagship skill development scheme of the Government of India under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), implemented by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Organizations who want to provide skill training must register as:
• Training Partner (TP)
• Training Centre (TC)

2. What is Training Partner (TP)?

A Training Partner is an organization/institution recognized by NSDC to run training programs under PMKVY in various job roles. TP is responsible for:

• Registration of the organization on Skill India Portal
• Managing training operations
• Ensuring compliance with PMKVY guidelines
• Quality control and monitoring
• Placement support

3. What is Training Centre (TC)?

A Training Centre is the physical training location approved by NSDC under a registered TP. TC must meet specific infrastructure + equipment + trainer guidelines as per Qualification Pack (QP) & National Occupational Standards (NOS).

4. Eligibility Criteria

• Registered trust, society, company, LLP, or educational institution

• Minimum 1-year experience in education/skill training (preferable)

• Adequate infrastructure as per PMKVY requirements

• Financial stability and audited financial statements

• PAN, TAN, GST (if applicable)

5. Documents Required for TP Registration

• Registration Certificate (Trust/Society/Company)

• Tan/Pan/GST (if any)

• Profile of organization

• Office address proof

• Bank details & cancelled cheque

• Audited financial statements (2–3 years preferred)

• Details of directors/trustees/partners

• Training experience proof (optional but useful)

• Proposed sectors and job roles

6.Documents Required for Training Centre (TC) Registration

• TC address proof (rent agreement/ownership documents)

• Photos of building, classrooms, labs, equipment

• Floor plan of centre

• Tools and equipment list as per QP

• Trainer details + certifications

• Bio-metric attendance setup details (if applicable)

7. Centre Accreditation & Affiliation (CAA)

The CAA process ensures:

• Infrastructure verification

• Trainer eligibility

• Tools & equipment verification

• Safety and compliance standards

• Biometric & CCTV readiness (if required)

8. Post-Registration Requirements

• Follow SOP of PMKVY

• Regular training MIS updates

• Batch creation & assessment coordination

• Placement tracking

• Documentation & reporting compliance
