NITI Aayog Registration, also known as NGO Darpan Registration, is mandatory for NGOs, Trusts, Societies, and Section 8 Companies who want to receive government grants, CSR funds, or work with any ministry.
NGO Darpan is a portal developed by:
• NITI Aayog
• Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY)
• In association with various Government Ministries
Registration gives the NGO a Unique ID (UID), which is compulsory for:
• Government schemes
• Ministry empanelment
• CSR funds
• Tender participation
• Project proposals
Any legally registered entity:
• Trust
• Society
• Section 8 Company
• Federation or Association
• Non-profit organizations
You will need the following:

PAN of the NGO
PAN & Aadhaar of Office Bearers (President/Secretary/Treasurer)
Office address proof (Rent agreement/utility bill)

Copy of Memorandum/Trust Deed
Details of key members
Email and mobile number (linked to Aadhaar)
NGO working area details
Past activities (if any)
Required for all Central/State government grants
Required for CSR funding from companies

• NGO must keep email & mobile active for OTP.
• PAN & Aadhaar of office bearers should be correct.
• Details must match registration documents.
