Step 1: Trademark Search
To check uniqueness and availability of the logo.
Step 2: Filing Application (Form TM-A)
Application is filed under the required class/classes.
Step 3: Examination
Registrar examines and may issue objections.
Step 4: Reply to Examination Report
Applicant must respond to any objections raised.
Step 5: Publication in Trademark Journal
Logo is published for public observation or opposition.
Step 6: Registration Certificate
If no opposition is raised, the logo is formally registered.
Valid for 10 years
Renewable every 10 years, indefinitely
