Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is a flagship placement-linked skill development program under the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD). It focuses on rural youth aged 15–35, offering skill training and assured placement.

2. Eligibility for DDUGKY Project Registration

- Registered NGOs, Trusts, Societies

- Section 8 Companies, Private Limited Companies

- Government Institutions, Universities, Colleges

- Organizations with training infrastructure and financial capacity

3. Key Objectives

- Skill development for rural youth

- Minimum 70% placement

- Social inclusion (SC/ST/Women/Minorities)

- Sustainable livelihood creation

4. Project Registration Process

Step 1: Register organization on eKaushal/Kaushal Bharat portal.

Step 2: Upload infrastructure details (classrooms, labs, CCTV, biometric devices).

Step 3: Prepare Project Implementation Plan (PIP).

Step 4: Submit proposal to State SRLM.

Step 5: Technical and financial evaluation.

Step 6: Project sanction and MoU signing.

Step 7: Implementation (mobilization, training, placement).
